Up until this point, all Lamborghinis have been born at the Lamborghini factory in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy. Regardless of style or era, all Lamborghinis were Italian made. This sense of Italian pride has been carried by every Lamborghini owner to date. This may all soon be changing. According to a new report, the Lamborghini Urus SUV, set to arrive in 2017, will not be built at the Lamborghini factory and possibly not in Italy at all. According to the report the Lamborghini Urus will be built in Slovakia, alongside the Porsche Cayenne, Audi Q7 and Volkswagen Touareg. Obviously from a business standpoint this makes perfect sense. However, this could prove to prove to be bad for the image of owning a Italian built supercar.
